Blocks I developed for the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine:
NOTE: The following images are from samples given to me or examples found on the current marshall.edu website; the updated med school pages have not been released yet (as of June 2025).
Basic Content

The Basic Content block functions similarly to the WordPress “Media and Text” block but with a few extra features. It displays rich text alongside an image or video to the left or right (the designer chooses) as well as call to action buttons below. The background color of the entire block is also customizable (green, black, or white), and the font, button, and image frame colors all change to maintain visibile accessibility standards.
Facts and Stats

The Facts and Stats block displays data quickly in a visually engaging format. The block can display 1 to 3 data points, and the formatting will adjust automatically; additionally, the background can be green, black, or white, and the text colors all update to maintain visibile accessibility standards.

Skills & Unreleased Projects
I worked under Marshall’s webmaster developing plugins, shortcodes, Gutenberg blocks, and pages for various WordPress sites. Doing so expanded on my computer science major by giving me hands-on experience programming in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My most recent project had me migrating pages for the Marshall University Foundation from WordPress to Statamic; however, those 50+ pages are still under development and are not publicly available (as of June 2025).
