Bio

What started as a love for writing short stories has evolved into a commitment to creativity that produces empathetic solutions to human-centered problems. While I still pride myself on my writing abilities, those now extend beyond just short stories, poetry, plays, and newswriting. I write scripts and build websites that not only fulfill a user’s needs but goes beyond them with a professional amount style.

I’m quite used to having one foot in the technical world and the other in the creative. I have a Bachelor of Science from Marshall University, where I double majored in Computer Science and Creative Writing. I’m also a Fulbright Scholar, having studied at the Glasgow Summer Institute for technology, creativity, and innovation.

My creativity isn’t limited, however, by my technical skills or literary studies. I’ve helped found organizations aimed at fostering community, be that through an interest in Filipino culture or a commitment to improving the scholarship program I was in at Marshall. I’ve also made my fair share of appearances onstage, be that as a TEDx speaker or as an ensemble member for SpongeBob: The Musical in my senior year of college.

Whatever I create next, I hope it helps to make our world a kinder and more welcoming place to live.
